We offer a warm welcome to visitors at our boathouse in Ilfracombe. The boathouse is usually open 11.00 a.m. to 4 p.m. most days from late May until the end of September. We also usually open for the Easter holidays and some weekends in October depending on the weather. Our friendly boathouse team can you show you around the station and they are full of interesting information about the RNLI in Ilfracombe.
We also offer pre-booked tours of the boathouse and our Shannon class lifeboat The Barry and Peggy High Foundation and our D Class Inshore lifeboat The Deborah Brown III for groups such as schools, youth groups or adult groups.

- The name and telephone number of the organiser
- The name of the group and type of group (e.g. school, youth organisation, adult group)
- Number of people in the group
- Your preferred date(s)
Visits can usually be booked Monday – Friday 9.30a.m to 7.30p.m. and take about an hour. We welcome groups of up to 20 people, although we can accommodate a few more by arrangement.
